	Major Happenings: On this date in 68 AD Nero awoke to find that his guards had fled and that he was a wanted man.  He fled Rome and committed suicide the next day. On this day in 632 AD, the "prophet" Mohammed, the founder of the Islamic religion, died in Medina at age 63. On this day in 1191, Richard the Lion-Hearted of England arrived at the port of Acre in the Holy Land during the third Crusade.  He captured Acre, but could not recapture Jerusalem from the Turks.
