The General Council of Nice was held from June 19th - August 25th of 325 AD.  Among other things "the question, touching the day for the celebration of the Feast of Easter, was settled. It was to be kept on the first Sunday after the first "Calendar" full moon, happening upon, or next after, the 21st of March; and if the full moon happened on a Sunday, Easter-day was to be the next Sunday following."(Bond)
